I’ve been really tired lately, maybe a mix of school and juggling life but it’s the truth. And usually when I’m tired - or down - I search for something to keep me steady, to help me hold my ground to stand and keep going. For the past few months this quote has helped me:
“As a rock on the seashore he standeth firm, and the dashing of the waves disturbeth him not. He raiseth his head like a tower on a hill, and the arrows of fortune drop at his feet. In the instant of Danger, he Courage of his heart sustaineth him; and the steadiness of his mind beareth him out.” -Aristotle.
I’ve never had something hold me so steady (besides my friends/sisters) but this does. It’s amazing how words can speak to you like that sometimes, and I just thought I would share it with whoever wanted it. :]
